Antonio Lotti was a prolific and highly successful composer of opera for the Venetian stage. He also 'fixed' a company of some of the leading opera singers of the day to perform at the Saxon Court of Augustus the Strong in Dresden. (Several of those singers would go on to sing for Handel in London.)
Of his 23 operas, only 7 are known to survive complete (marked *). Varying number of arias from the remainder can be found in various manuscript collections.
We are planning to produce free-to-download editions of all Lotti's surviving opera materials, starting with the 7 surviving complete scores, and then moving onto reconstructions using the remaining extant material. All seven surviving complete scores are now available to download below. Instrumental parts are available on request.
